Here are some more tips:

Check to see if your drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can cause stuttering and other performance issues, so make sure that you have the latest versions of your graphics card, sound card, and other drivers installed. You can check for updates on the website of the manufacturer of your hardware.

Another potential cause of stuttering is a lack of resources on your PC. Make sure that you have enough free space on your hard drive, and close any unnecessary programs or processes that may be running in the background.

In-game settings can also affect performance. Lowering the resolution, turning off anti-aliasing, and disabling shadows and reflections can help improve performance. You can also try to adjust the game’s v-sync settings, which can help reduce screen tearing.

Another fix that you can try is to increase your GPU’s power limit. This will allow your GPU to run at a higher performance level, which can help reduce stuttering. You can do this by adjusting your GPU’s power settings in your graphics card’s control panel.

If you are still experiencing stuttering, you can also try disabling Hyper-Threading. Hyper-Threading is a feature that allows multiple threads to run on a single CPU core. While this can improve performance in some cases, it can also cause stuttering in games. To disable Hyper-Threading, you will need to go into your BIOS settings and disable it there.

Finally, make sure that you have the latest updates for your operating system and the game itself. FromSoftware has been releasing updates to fix various performance issues, so make sure that you have the latest version of the game installed.

Summary

Elden Ring is a beautiful, fun, and challenging game with a world full of random dungeons, minds, secret bosses, and other things to do. It’s a shame that PC players have to deal with stuttering, but I think I was able to get it under control with these fixes, and so far the game has been running very smoothly. I’ll be streaming Elden Ring later tonight, so if you want to watch it, let me know in the comments.
